Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Company (LWCC) First Insurer in Production with AgencyPort’s Renewal and Endorsement Module

New Component Extends AgencyPortal™ to Handle Renewals and Endorsements

Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Company (LWCC), the leading provider of workers compensation insurance in the state of Louisiana, and AgencyPort, a leading provider of agent portal and interface solutions to property and casualty insurers, today announced that LWCC has initially deployed AgencyPortal’s new Renewal and Endorsement component to selected pilot agencies.

With completion of the renewal and endorsement project, LWCC’s agents and underwriters are able to migrate to automated web-based renewal and endorsement processing. The new AgencyPortal™ Renewal and Endorsement component allows for more streamlined, electronic workflow between LWCC’s agents and underwriters, significantly improving responsiveness and accuracy while decreasing processing costs.

“With the flexibility and power of AgencyPortal™, we’ve been able to enhance our renewal and endorsement processing to exceed our agents expectations”, said Barrie Parker, CIO of LWCC. “For the first time, our agents and underwriters are able to automate the renewal and endorsement process in real-time, removing the headaches and errors associated with phone, paper and fax-based processes.”

The AgencyPortal™ Renewal and Endorsement Module enables LWCC to:

Provide electronic notification of a renewal to the agent 60 days in advance via LWCC’s agent portal;

Renew the policy or process an endorsement request automatically from the agent in real-time mode;

Distribute PDF images of the policy or renewal quote to agents up to 60 days in advance of the renewal date, significantly reducing printing, handling and postage costs;

Improve agent efficiency and underwriter responsiveness by allowing a secure on-line access to renewals and endorsements.

“Our AgencyPortal™ renewal and endorsement implementation went very smoothly, especially given that the project required multiple complex integrations to our existing systems,” said Parker. “The AgencyPort team worked professionally with our internal staff and excelled in providing business analysis, system design and customized development expertise, resulting in an on-time, successful implementation”.

“We thank LWCC for choosing another AgencyPort solution and for their continued confidence in our team”, said Steven Hauck, President, AgencyPort. “We are excited that our new Endorsement and Renewals component has been well received by LWCC’s underwriters and pilot agents.”
