BOSTON, MA – December 7, 2006 AgencyPort Insurance Services, a leading provider of web-based solutions designed specifically for property and casualty insurers, today announced the release of an enhanced version of its AgencyPortal™ product, Version 3.4. The new AgencyPortal™ 3.4 features include:

Enhanced support for “Change Management” transactions (e.g. Endorsements, Renewals, Rewrites, etc.). This includes new user experience components that make it easier for an agent or user to make changes over the course of the transaction. In addition, these capabilities have been designed to take full advantage of the ACORD XML specification and adopt the ACORD ‘ModInfo’ aggregate for communicating policy change information to downstream systems.

Improved support for field validation and data edit configuration. The new field validation engine greatly reduces the effort required to implement carrier specific data validations and provides numerous usability enhancements for the agents.

Enhanced ‘upload’ experience. AgencyPortal’s enhanced change management infrastructure is now leveraged to make Agency Management System real-time quoting or bridging transactions more dynamic and user friendly for agents. In real-time and at first view, the agent is informed of any missing or problematic data, easing and speeding the time it takes an agent to quote, bind, endorse or renew a policy transaction.
